sometimes printfriendly only prints the first of several pages created after I use the firefox re-pagination extension. Can this be fixed? The example page where i noticed this is here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/05/08/intel_silvermont_microarchitecture/ the re-pagination extension is here: https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/repagination/ thanks, steve p.s. the re-pagination + printfriendly combination is great for my kids' school projects where they need to create clutter-free documents with appropriate references/citations. Thanks!

pdf not generated

The PDF tool is no longer generating pdf's. It just doesn't work ANYWHERE. Not on any site. At all. Yesterday it worked fine on all the sites I visit daily. For example, I often visit businessinsider.com where i have made many pdf's there regularly, but today when I click on the printfriendly icon, instead of the window that shows the pdf button, it is a blank page with the printfriendly logo on it. I reinstalled it just to err on the side of caution and the same issue persists. Printfriendly has never clashed with any of my plugins, nor have I changed any of them recently. What can we do about this?

I simply LOVE printFriendly and couldn't live without it, thanks for making it! Here is a suggestion: allow the user to change the file name, when saving as pdf - it will save time (no need to open the folder, etc) Thanks again, Nico

I have an article with images that click through to Amazon and they work when first hitting the print friendly button. However when saving it as a PDF, the image links are gone - can't click through. The text links work fine.

Images not always appearing + Too big file size

I wanted to PDF some pages and most of the time only the first image appears. I have to re-try it several times (up to 10 times) and then with a lot of luck I get a second or third image. Example: http://www.howtogeek.com/165264/heres-why-firefox-is-still-years-behind-google-chrome/ There is no difference if I use your website to print the site as PDF or the Chrome extension, only the first image appears. As I mention, with luck a second or third image is shown but the chance is low. The attached screenshots shows how it looked after the 10th attempt (http://s24.postimg.org/68y72g3d1/loadingscreen.jpg) A loading image appears as a placeholder. Looks to me that the printfriendly.com timeout is too low, like the images haven't finished loading yet. It happens to almost every webpage I tried. So it cannot be a problem with the website. The second problem I am running into: The file size of the PDF. Even without any images the file size is very big. If I pdf the example website url above, the file size - without images - is around 100kb. For 3 .. 4 pages of plain text. This cannot be true. If I manually copy and paste the text into a document, format it and print it as PDF it's 30 something kb or less. Currently, I have to manually upload every of your generated PDFs to smallpdf.com to get a 50% smaller file size, but it's little too much work. Also not very secure ;)

Text sizing - last week it was definable (12pts etc) now it is nebulous

Why have you changed the text setting?? It is bloody terrible now, who cares what PERCENTAGE rating any text has.. becasue it is all relative, without any form of reference. Pica or Point size is standard term in computing for decades and it gives a RELIABLE, REPRODUCABLE RESULT. If you wanted to do something USEFUL, dropping in a grid or guide to show where a page boundary will appear WOULD be sensible. This percentage sizing crap is nonsense, more dumbing down does not serve society

I am trying to make my website printer-friendly, but while Yahoo webhosting allows for html codes, it says that it does not allow javascript and to remove the "script blocks" I have no idea what that means or how I should edit the html code to work with Yahoo. help?

Text overruns margins no matter how things are set up

This began a few days ago. Typically, I have my Firefox browser set to print at 125 percent. Until a few days ago, that worked great. Almost any URL put into Print Friendly would print correctly, even with hard line breaks in the original. Now, even text without hard line breaks is cutoff. Here is an example http://pjmedia.com/victordavishanson/lying-in-the-age-of-obama/?print=1 This cuts off above Landscape and 80%

I have a subscription to some game guides on PrimaGames.com. The website says they don't have functionality around printing built in but it's ok to do a print screen. If I go to Print by myself in Chrome and then save as a PDF it works fine. However when I use your extension and create a PDF I get the error, "This image is only viewable on PrimaGames.Com". Any ideas? Thanks Josh

Is there a maximum size page the tool will capture? I'm using the Chrome Extension. I have a site that has 5 long pages. The capture will only do the first 4. When I go to do the 5th page It basically grabs from the beginning and does 1-4 again. Any ideas? Thanks Josh

Grey Screen of Doom

Hi. I love Printfriendly -- but lately it's been very difficult with many web pages. My office has both Macs and PCs, running both Firefox and Chrome. On all combinations of these, use of the Chrome extension or Firefox bookmark regularly produces only a solid grey screen (which normally backs the preview pop-up.) (This doesn't seem to be pop-up blocker related. When the browsers' built-in pop-up blockers are disabled, the same problem occurs.) This happens on many sites -- including printfriendly.com! -- but not all sites. (Most of these sites work well, however, when their URLs are entered into Printfriendly's home page.) Any ideas? Thanks! jeremy

avoiding printing of empty/near empty pages

On many cases, if you wish to print a website content, you get to have the final page printed with very few text in it, if at all. Can you please add the ability to avoid such a thing? Maybe show the page breaks and have the ability to remove the final page, or reduce the font size or remove empty lines ? The minimal thing would be to show the user what's about to be printed, meaning WYSIWYG of the pages that are about to be printed.

is there a way to get straight to the pdf?

I am using your service while browsing to save articles and web pages into a local folder into pdf format. Is there some bookmarklet or other way to get straight to the pdf file, without having to get through the page and then click to generate pdf? Thank you.
